Sailing Lessons ~ Lake Scugog, Port Perry, Ontario
Youth Sailing Lessons
Aye! Aye! Captain! Trim the sails and prepare to come about! Join fully certified Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) sailing instructors for an opportunity to tame the seas of Lake Scugog. Your little skipper will be challenged with games and activities to make learning how to sail fun, both on AND off the water. This program teaches beginner sailors the basics while still challenging the intermediate sailor. Participants also work on achieving their CYA White Sail Levels I, II, and III. Participants will be split into two groups according to age and ability and sail for three hours either in the morning or afternoon. When participants are not on the water camp staff will engage them in active games, sports, crafts and lots more. Campers will also get to take a tour of the Caesarea Fire Hall. Busing is made available to participants who pre-register for this program. Be sure to secure your spot as the Boom Sailing Camp is limited to 32 participants.
